So I was listening to "Seven Rings in Hand" the Crush 40 version lots one day.
And I got to thinking,"People Sonic knows show up in the stories as characters, if Base showed up, who would he have ended up as?"
After lengthy research on the Arabian Nights stories, it hit me all at once, like a box falling off a shelf filled with heavy objects that you just happen to be under.
Aladdin. Because of the game's storyline is explains why he's never encountered, and no one was really tied to the said role.
Besides, I like Aladdin's story, an urchin, tricked by a sorcerer, uses the djinn to escape certain death and become rich and win the heart of a chinese princess, afterward the sorcerer takes everything using the djinn of the lamp, using the djinn of the ring he has, Aladdin goes to face the sorcerer and take back all he had and save his wife.
So then, my mind paved the post-story story of sorts.
Erazor's 1000 wishes are up, and he escapes, his last master having been a hedgehog, he's grown a distaste for them, and refers to them as rats. His first order of destruction to start with is Aladdin's story.
He chooses to kill everyone in the story, starting with Aladdin's wife and family.
Enraged by this, Aladdin uses the djinn of his ring to go forth to face Erazor to try and trap him in the lamp again.
When the face off begins, Erazor crushes the lamp into a ball and discards it, Sharha keeps it, hoping it can somehow be fixed and used again.
Aladdin, now faced with no other option, faces Erazor in combat, after a valiant fight, he is defeated and slain.
Sharha, now without a master, seeks out Sonic, as he's their last hope.
I got a feeling I'm going to be REAMED for this, but I don't care, I like how this came out, I like how the story in my head matches up with the game without paradoxing it, and I like that I tied up all the loose ends I could.
So...I win....I think.
